Creekappella was founded in February 2022. This extra-curricular ensemble specializes in a cappella arrangements of popular music and vocal jazz. A highly independent group, they are student-directed. Admission to the ensemble requires exceptional musicianship. Creekappella has performed at several Berkeley County School District Board Meetings and events for the City of Goose Creek, and as featured entertainment at the Medical University of South Carolina Children's Hospital Reindeer Run. Creekappella has twice been awarded 1st Place in the Jazz Choir Classification at Music in the Parks (2024, 2026). Creekappella was invited for featured performance at the Fall Conference of the South Carolina American Choral Directors Association in 2025.
